A multi-stage copper development project
Cornerstone represents a significant opportunity to establish a scalable copper business within Namibia’s emerging Kaoko Copper Belt. The project combines a large, contiguous 6,214-hectare land package with extensive known surface and near-surface copper mineralisation, existing geological data and partnerships with local mining-claim holders.
The Board believes its collective experience in exploration, project development, operations and capital allocation positions the Company to advance a disciplined multi-stage development strategy, initially targeting small-scale oxide production and early cash flow while systematically exploring the broader and deeper sulphide potential. With a 51% controlling interest and the option to increase ownership to 70%, the Company intends to consolidate and develop the project’s wider potential, with the long-term objective of defining a significant copper resource capable of supporting larger-scale, higher-margin production for the benefit of all stakeholders.
