Okopa plc (AIM: OPK) is a natural resources company focused on copper exploration and production in Namibia’s emerging Kaoko Copper Belt in the Kunene Region.

The Company holds an initial controlling 51% interest in Cornerstone Mining (Pty) Ltd, with an option to increase its interest to 70%. Cornerstone holds a contiguous 6,214-hectare land package near Opuwo, where Okopa is targeting near-term copper oxide production alongside exploration for additional oxide resources and deeper sulphide mineralisation.

Okopa is debt-free and benefits from recurring income from its interests in Togo and the US. Together with planned revenue from copper oxide production, this provides funding to support exploration and development of the Company’s Namibian copper portfolio.
